National LGBTQ Task Force Foundation
Community activist Liebe Gadinsky has been on the board of directors of the National LGBTQ Task Force Foundation since 2010, and once served as its co-chairwoman. She also served as Vice Chairperson of Dade Community Foundation, and continued in that position when it was renamed the Miami Foundation. A community leader and determined activist, Gadinsky is the daughter-in-law of the late state Representative Elaine Gordon of North Miami, one of the best known feminist lawmakers from the 70s and 80s.
She is a community leader with a deep-rooted passion for supporting numerous causes. This includes SAVE Dade, where she worked tirelessly for passage of the Miami-Dade Human Rights Ordinance. In addition, she served on the Foundation’s GLBT Community Projects Fund Advisory Board.
Her active engagement helped secure the success of this grant-making initiative, a collaboration with the Task Force, as it provides support to local organizations serving the community. She has been with her husband, Miami real estate mogul Seth Gedinsky, for over three decades. Together they are the parents of two grown daughters, Naomi and Natasha.
