Media Sales Consultant
Multimedia Platforms (MMP) has openings for dynamic sales professionals to join our team in Los Angeles, New York and South Florida. Media Sales Consultants will develop new and grow existing advertising accounts for our portfolio of media products (print, digital, social, streaming, experiential, and event) by helping businesses tap into the buying power of the LGBTQ market.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Identify through prospecting, referral and lead generation new clients for our local media brands and digital assets including — Frontiers magazine, Next magazine, WiRLD.com, WiRLD City Guides and Agenda
Set face to face appointments with decision makers to conduct marketing needs analysis and identify opportunities for solutions with MMP resources. Generate revenue using these resources
Work closely with small businesses to help them develop a consistent advertising presence with the LGBTQ consumer
Achieve sales goals as defined by management by following the guidelines of customer focused selling
Entertain clients, including some weekend and evening work
Be a team player activity contributing to a positive work environment
Required Qualifications:
Media sales experience with success in publishing, mobile, digital, direct mail, business directories, radio, or related fields
Working knowledge of customer relationship management software (CRM) and MS Office Lead generation skills, phone, social media, and email
Professional business related communication skills (consultative, presentation and written) Interpersonal skills at all levels from C-Suite to Administrative with an ability to engage quickly and develop rapport
Ability to connect business thinking with value propositions, a strong deal closer
