WILTON MANORS–“Careful not to confuse your tillandsias with your cycads.”

“Don’t underestimate a bromilead.” “There is nothing more stunning than a dendrobium!” “ When you have enough room for a Queen, picking a Royal is an easy choice.”

This lively discussion is something you might overhear at Equality Park Tropical Plant Fair. This two-day horticultural extravaganza will be sure to bring out your green thumb! The event is Saturday, March 26 at 8 am – 4 pm and Sunday, March 27 9 am – 3 pm. Over 30 plant vendors from around the state will be showcasing outstanding plants and related accessories.

The sub tropical climate of South Florida enables residents to be exotic in their landscaping choices. Equality Park Tropical Plant Fair offers a selection of many beautiful trees, flowering shrubs, heliconias and gingers, rare palms and other unique selections. All plants on display will be available for sale. Master Gardeners of Broward County will also be on hand with landscaping, insect control, fertilizer and irrigation information.

There will be food trucks on hand to keep you nourished, hourly raffles, a treasure hunt, a pet rescue/adoption and Florida Native Plant Societies.

For vendor/more information, call 954-257-2317. Queens rule.
