Most of the dead were in their 20s. Young and mainly Latino. It was, after all, Latino Night at Pulse Nightclub, packed to capacity even at 2 am when a lone gunman burst through the doors and began firing on an unsuspecting crowd.
In the aftermath, there were 49 dead, and 53 wounded–some clinging to life at area hospitals. We mourn Orlando’s loss and send our condolences to the families of the fallen listed below.
