I have just spent an incredible week playing tennis and attending the International Gay and Lesbian Travel Association (IGLTA) in Los Angeles with Major League Baseball’s Ambassador of Inclusion Billy Bean. I continue to be amazed at Billy’s ability to reach out across boundaries, both political and geographic, as he works to tear down stereotypes and end homophobic behavior.
Last month, Multimedia Platforms Worldwide named Billy as our National Spokesman and he has proven to be a valuable asset to our publicly traded company. This is not, however, an exclusive arrangement. The needs of the LGBT community are too great.
MMPW supports the effort and work of Billy Bean in all arenas and on all playing fields. We understand his support and participation with all LGBT media outlets as he grows the incredibly important message of inclusion in the sports world.
