In court documents, the FBI accuses Jungwirth of using Facebook to post a series of slurs against the gay community in Wilton Manors, threatening a massacre of LGBTs over the Labor Day weekend.
“None of you deserve to live” and, “If you losers thought the Pulse nightclub shooting was bad, wait till you see what I’m planning for Labor Day,” he allegedly posted.
The Florida Highway Patrol arrested Jungwirth two days before the holiday in Osceola County on a charge of driving on a suspended license. He was jailed in Seminole County and turned over to federal custody Thursday, the Sheriff’s Office said.
Jungwirth had been living with his mother outside of Orlando. According to the Sun-Sentinel newspaper, on Sept. 2, the FBI subpoenaed records that indicated that the threatening posts were made from an Internet account registered to an address owned by Jungwirth’s mother.

]]>STUART, FL—The ugly face of Flakka announced its presense in Stuart, FL, this past week when a man identified as Nico Gallo came crashing through the plate glass front window of a home on SE Orchard St. He immediately attacked a mother and her 30-year-old son in the living room.
Despite having hit the attacker several dozens of times with an aluminum baseball bat, the man identified as Gallo continued to try to punch and scratch the pair. A witness later told investigators, he and Gallo had taken LSD and a drug called methylone which belongs in the class of so-called bath salts or Flakka, Snyder noted. Tests revealed it was another compound called dibutylone, another bath salt.
Gallo was arrested by the Martin County deputy sheriffs, who said that “this suspect had no criminal history, and now he faces life felonies.”
Gallo was hospitalized in stable condition while nvestigators said they will recommend charges of burglary and assault during a burglary.

Lawrence Heute and his partner have lived in the home off SW 282nd St and 133rd Place for the past four years, and have previously been subjected to rock throwing attacks. According to Heute, he has a 77-year-old mother living with them in the house, and said that the incident could have been far worse if the woman and her oxygen tank had been close to the explosion.
As it is, damage to the property was minimal, effecting a blown out glass window in the living which cause destruction in the immediate area.
Homestead is best known as a suburb of Miami and the southern terminus of the Florida Turnpike.

]]>ORLANDO—The 50-year-old Orange County man tied to threatening to make Pulse Night-club style attacks on Wilton Manors over the Labor Day weekend is in jail again, and this time he is unlikely to be released anytime soon. Ironically, his latest arrest charge is for crimes unrelated to his Facebook claims to “(kill) you fags faster than the cops kill n**gers. It’s time to clean up Wilton Manors from all you AIDS infested losers.”
After the initial spate of threats on Facebook, the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force arrested Jungwirth in the Bay Hill area of Orlando while walking on Citrus Chase Drive neaer his mother’s house. While the official charge by the Feds is one count of “threatening communications,” Jungwirth is now also wanted to appear in Broward County for a missed court appearance in connection with a previous misdemeanor violence of walking off without paying a check at Rumor’s Bar in Wlton Manors.
A Broward County judge on Saturday held an emergency hearing to issue an arrest warrant for Jungwirth for a violating bond conditions in an unrelated pending misdemeanor case. Jungwirth’s attorney Ron L. Baum, said that his client did not have enough time to make the drive from Orlando to Fort Lauderdale for the court appearance. The judge did not accept that excuse and issued an order for Jungwirth’s immediatee arrest for parole violations.
The judge Saturday said Jungwirth’s violation of bond conditions and “escalating concerns of public safety,” coupled with his failure to appear in court, called for the “extraordinary measure” of revoking his bond and issuing an arrest warrant.
Eventually it was troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol who finally took Jungwrith into official custody. According to Orlando Police Lieut. Richard Ruth the charge was “driving on a suspended license.” He was arrested in Osceola County.
Jungwirth is now being held in federal custody at the Seminole County Jail, and is expected to make his first court appearance before a judge on Tuesday at the Federal Courthouse in Atlanta. Only after that case makes it way through the court system will he be returned to Broward County to face his probation violation changes.
The Wilton Manors Police Department has been working in conjunction with the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Forces in Miami and Tampa, along with the Orlando Police Department, Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, Orange County Sheriff’s Office and Seminole County Sheriff’s Office.

]]>WILTON MANORS—After a series of conflicting reports on the whereabouts and detention status of Craig Jungwirth, the unbalanced ex-event promoter who threatened to kill “fags faster than the cops kill n**gers,” is no longer in custody, but continues to be under surveillance by the FBI. According to Wilton Manors Police Chief Paul O’Connell, the suspect is no longer considered a threat to gays celebrating their Labor Day weekends in the local LGBT nightclub Mecca.
According to Chief O’Connell: “The Wilton Manors Police Department (WMPD) is actively working with national, state and local law enforcement agencies in an ongoing investigation regarding what we believe to be credible threats to do harm.
Investigative timelines are comprehensive and thorough. WMPD will have increased patrol and visibility throughout the holiday weekend, working with local bars and restaurants in an effort to beef up private security. In addition, we have reached out to our local law enforcement partners and asked that they consider providing additional assistance.
If you SEE SOMETHING, SAY SOMETHING. As always…….never hesitate to reach out to us!” he urged.
Jungwirth, who threatened last week via Facebook to massacre “faggots,” had written on Facebook: “None of you deserve to live. If you losers thought the Pulse nightclub shooting was bad, wait till you see what I’m planning for Labor Day.”
Jungwirth was referring to the June 12 massacre at Pulse nightclub in Orlando where 49 victims were murdered and another 53 injured.
Jungwirth is said to be staying with his mother in Orlando where he is being monitored while a case is being built against him for arrest by the authorities for making threats to murder civilians over the Internet.
After making the threats last Wednesday, police quickly located the man, labeled “unstable” by many who know him, and brought in for questioning by the Orlando police and the FBI.

ORLANDO—OneOrlando Fund as well as Equality Florida’s GoFundMe campaign and several other independent efforts have raised over $23 million for the victims of the mass shooting at Pulse Nightclub and their families. After several town hall meetings in Orlando to determine the fund’s priorities, the donations are now being disbursed based on a variety of criteria set up by the fund’s administer, attorney Ken Feinberg.
“We aren’t going to get into family arguments about the distribution of money. Work it out,” Feinberg said, suggesting that families go to probate court to determine a designated administrator. “We can’t get in the middle of this,” Feinberg said.
Additionally, there were a large number of deceased victims who have relatives outside the U.S. mainland. About half of 49 patrons who were killed had ties to Puerto Rico, and others came from Mexico, Colombia, the Dominican Republic and Guatemala.
Victims and their families who feel they are entitled to a portion of the proceeds from the donation drive are asked to register and fill out paperwork at www.oneorlando.org.
Feinberg is the founder of Feinberg Rozen Llp, has been responsible for overseeing payouts in the September 11 Victim Compensation Fund, the Boston Marathon Bombing victims, as well as payouts in the Agent Orange settlement.
The members of the OneOrlando board of directors represents the diversity of the city and includes LGBT activists as well as a number of Latinos.
Equality Florida, the GLBT Community Center of Central Florida (The Center) and the National Compassion Fund announced a partnership with OneOrlando to ensure that funds collected are disbursed in a unified process.
We were just overwhelmed with the amount of emails and messages asking: ‘What can we do?'” said Ida V. Eskamani, who oversees regional fundraising at Equality Florida in Orlando, which defends rights of lesbians, gays, bisexual and transgender people.
