One of South Florida’s most popular female impersonators Scott Weston, who went by the stage name Cashetta, has died.
Weston’s age and cause of death were unknown at press time.
Originally from Little Falls, New Jersey, Weston was a beloved singer, comic, emcee and magician who played to packed houses locally in Wilton Manors and at venues across the country, including Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Caroline’s Comedy Club on Broadway in New York City, Blue Moon in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware as well as The Art House, Crown and Anchor in Provincetown, Massachusetts.
