BSO will also conduct a “Shred- A-Thon” for Broward residents to safely dispose of documents, check stubs, receipts, credit card offers, and other material that could contain personal data, and put individuals at risk to identity thieves.

Both events are free to the public, and will take place September 22, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. For more information, visit sheriff.org.
