FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – Tickets are available for the Fort Lauderdale Gay Men’s Chorus season finale concert, “Living Out Loud,” a celebration of the best singing and dancing from the past 25 years of the Fort Lauderdale Gay Men’s Chorus, followed by the premiere of their first commissioned work, “Living Out Loud”.

There will be two performances at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts’ Amaturo Theater on June 25, 2011, at
2 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Tickets are $40, $30 & $20 and are available by calling the chorus office at (954) 832-0060 or through the Broward Center box office by calling (954) 462-0222.

In the second act, The Fort Lauderdale Gay Men’s Chorus will premiere an original nine-song cycle, the title work, “Living Out Loud” by popular GALA chorus composer Robert Seeley and lyricist Robert Espindola. This choral piece, commissioned and inspired by members of the chorus, will be a joint performance by The Fort Lauderdale Gay Men’s Chorus and The South Florida Pride Wind Ensemble.

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – The Fort Lauderdale Gay Men’s Chorus will present Living Out Loud on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at the Amaturo Theatre at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. The finale concert of the South Florida Performing Arts season will be presented twice with a matinee at 2 p.m. and an evening performance at 8 p.m.  The first act will include favorites from the past 25 years, including “The Campaign,” “You Raise Me Up,” and unforgettable medleys of music from Queen and The Village People.

Several guest soloists will return to perform in this walk down memory lane, along with the dances that made past audiences stand up and cheer. In the second act, The Fort Lauderdale Gay Men’s Chorus will premiere an original nine song cycle, the title work Living Out Loud by popular GALA chorus composer, Robert Seeley, and lyricist, Robert Espindola.  This choral piece, commissioned and inspired by members of the chorus, will be a joint performance featuring both The Fort Lauderdale Gay Men’s Chorus and The South Florida Pride Wind Ensemble.
