If you’re looking for an active friendly dog to be part of your family, look no further, Cotto (ID# A444080) is for you. This 3 year young, 58 pound boxer was given up because he barks when he sees people outside the family yard and the neighbors didn’t like it. Cotto has lots of energy and would be a great jogging partner. He is potty trained, likes people of all ages and he gets along with other dogs. Can he be your new best friend?
If a feline friend is more up your alley, stop by the shelter and meet Bella (ID# 443741) an 11 month old Abyssinian mix who is loving, curious and very friendly. This gal likes to explore and will curl up in your clothing drawers to take a nap. She gets along with people of all ages and other pets. Won’t you give her a chance?

The adoption fees are $100 for dogs and $135 for dogs 6 months and younger. The $85 fee for cats 6 months and older is currently being waived and for kittens has been reduced to $50. The fee includes spay/neuter surgery, preliminary vaccinations, microchip and registration, heartworm test for dogs and feline leukemia test for cats and more. The adoption fee for rabbits is $20.00. For more information call the shelter today at 954-989-3977 or visit www.humanebroward.com to see who else is looking for a home for life. The Humane Society of Broward County is located at 2070 Griffin Road, just a block west of I-95. Adoptions open daily at 10 a.m.

If you like BIG dogs stop by the Humane Society of Broward County and meet Sasha (ID# 436631) a 4 year young, 88 pound, bull mastiff who lost her home because her family is moving. Sasha is a big ball of love. She is good with people of all ages and she gets along with other dogs. Put your walking shoes on, because this girl enjoys going for walks on a regular basis.
