Posted on 27 November 2013

Wilton Manors, FL – This week, The Art Gallery of The Pride Center at Equality Park announced the opening reception of “Here, There, Everywhere…Global trekking”: a photo exhibition by Harvey Chasser. Chasser invites the public to make a difference at the opening reception (December 12) as he is donating 100% of his photo exhibit proceeds to support vital programs and services at The Pride Center.

During the reception, guests can purchase original photos that range from $35 – $170. Guests can make a difference while enjoying beautiful snapshots of the wonders that Harvey has experienced first-hand in the past year. Guest will be greeted with wine and a free “Hands Spa” sponsored by Beauty Boutique, owned by Yolanda Mateus, Mary Kay Cosmetic Independent Sales Director.

In the release, The Pride Center states that their mission is to “provide a welcoming, safe space – an inclusive home – that celebrates, nurtures and empowers the LGBTQ communities and our friends and neighbors in South Florida.” For 20 years, The Pride Center has met the LGBTQ community’s distinct health, social, educational, socio-economic and safety needs. Last year, over 20,000 people attended activities provided by The Pride Center.
