FORT LAUDERDALE — Teams are forming and soliciting donations for the 2013 Florida AIDS Walk and Music Festival, which takes place March 24 at South Beach Park along Fort Lauderdale Beach.

Organizers say that this year’s event is a 5K walk along the beach, followed by a concert, food, and drinks in the sand.

In 2012, the Florida AIDS Walk took the event to the beach for the first time, adding food trucks, tents in the sand, and world-famous musical acts to thank Walkers and Sponsors for their years of commitment and support.
