Free Film Screening of LGBT Oscar Nominee “How to Survive a Plague” at Pride Center

WILTON MANORS — Gay filmmaker David France’s Academy Award-nominated film “How to Survive a Plague” will have a free screening on Monday, February 18 at 7 p.m., at the Pride Center at Equality Park (2040 N Dixie Hwy, Wilton Manors), in the Main Hall of Building A. The film, nominated for Best Documentary, is a compelling look at the early years of the AIDS epidemic and the efforts of activists to raise money and awareness.
