Koko (ID# A460529) is a 2 ½ year young, 76 pound Alaskan Malamute mix who likes to talk and tell you his stories.  This big fellow is potty trained and looking for a family who will spoil him.  Koko came from a shelter in Mississippi that was in the path of Hurricane Isaac and fortunately he and 20+ other dogs came to Florida to find their forever homes.  Can he be your new best friend?

Malani (ID# 460603) is a 5 month old, female Guinea pig who is at the shelter with several of her siblings.  This unique looking gal has a long, fluffy coat and does need to be brushed on a regular basis.  She likes people of all ages and hopes you will adopt her.  The adoption fee for Guinea pigs is $15.

Adopt a feline 6 months and older and there is not adoption fee.  The fee for kittens has been reduced to $50!  The adoption fee for dogs over 6 months is $100 and under 6 months is $135. All pets are spayed or neutered, receive preliminary vaccinations, a microchip, heartworm test for dogs, a feline leukemia test for cats and more. The adoption fee for rabbits is $20.00.  For more information call the shelter today at 954-989-3977.  The Humane Society of Broward County is located at 2070 Griffin Road, just a block west of I-95.  Adoptions open daily at 10 a.m.  To see who else needs a home visit www.humanebroward.com
