GEORGIE’S ALIBI/“LA CAGE AUX FOLLES” NIGHT
Bringing to life the Saint-Tropez
club setting of the Tony Awardwinning
musical, the Broward
Center for the Performing Arts
presents “La Cage Aux Folles”
Night, on Friday, May 25, from
5 to 9 p.m., at Georgie’s Alibi
in Wilton Manors. This festive
event will feature promotional
item giveaways, drink specials,
a drag hostess, and chances to
win free tickets to “La Cage Aux
Folles” with George Hamilton and
Christopher Sieber, running at the
Broward Center from June 12 to
24, and “Standing on Ceremony:
The Gay Marriage Plays,” which
plays from June 21 to 24.
A grand prize winner will
also receive dinner at Georgie’s
Alibi, VIP opening night seats to
“La Cage,” entry into the postshow
cast party at the Alibi,
and transportation to it all in
a limousine. There is no cover
charge to attend the event at
Georgie’s Alibi, located at 2266
Wilton Drive, Wilton Manors.

WILTON MANORS: GARY SANTIS PRESENTS “WHITE FORT LAUDERDALE”
The annual event that traditionally
kicks off the summer season in
South Florida returns on Sunday,
May 27. For 2012, White Fort
Lauderdale will be hosted at The
Manor Restaurant and Complex
in Wilton Manors, and will feature
DJs Manny Lehman and Daisy
Deadpetals with a special concert
by Prince Poppycock from TV’s
“America’s Got Talent.” Many
of South Florida’s greatest drag
entertainers will also perform,
with Kitty Meow, Daisy D, Sasha
Lords, Erika Norell and TP Lords
currently scheduled to appear.
Joe Posa (as “Joan Rivers”) will
be the event emcee, with WSVN-
7 anchor Craig Stevens serving as
