Humane Society Pet Adoptions 3-22-12

Posted on 22 March 2012

Romeo (ID# 445459) is a 3 year young, Javanese mix who is a real love.  Sadly he was given up because the landlord said no pets.  This handsome fellow is gentle and sweet and he likes to play with toys or cuddle up with you.  Can you give him a home for life?  Because Romeo is over the age of 6 months his adoption fee is waived.

Edith (ID# A445461) and Scarlette (ID# A445462) are 9 year young, Australian Shepherd mix sisters who are looking for a home where they can stay together.  This duo was sadly given up when their owner was forced to move and could not take them along.  The girls are great with people of all ages, good with other pets and very obedient.  Can they come retire at your home?

The adoption fees are $100 for dogs and $135 for dogs 6 months and younger. The $85 fee for cats 6 months and older is currently being waived and for kittens has been reduced to $50.  The fee includes spay/neuter surgery, preliminary vaccinations, microchip and registration, heartworm test for dogs and feline leukemia test for cats and more. The adoption fee for rabbits is $20.00 and Guinea pigs are $15. For more information call the shelter today at 954-989-3977 or visit www.humanebroward.com  to see who else is looking for a home for life.  The Humane Society of Broward County is located at 2070 Griffin Road, just a block west of I-95.  Adoptions open daily at 10 a.m.
