WILTON MANORS, FL – The Rainbow Business Coalition (RBC) has taken over the duties of planning the 12th annual Stonewall Street Festival and Parade, to be held this June in Wilton Manors.
For the first ten years, the Festival was organized by Pride of Greater Fort Lauderdale (PGFL), a Fort Lauderdale-based non-profit organization.
In 2011, Stonewall was organized by a private promotions company, Wedner and Friends, which is based in Miami.
The RBC was founded in 2011 and has taken on the task of organizing what was once the largest gay pride celebration in South Florida. RBC co-chair Reece Darham said that this year’s parade and festival, now in the planning stages, will be held in June and will include the closing of Wilton Drive.
When?
It has been difficult to find whom I might submit application to as a vendor this year as I have for many past. Please fwd. info including site plan and vendor application package.
