WILTON MANORS, FL – Sidelines Sports Bar’s-sponsored women’s pool teams faired very well during the recent playoff matches of

the Gold Coast Pool League. Sidelines Team #1 came in 2nd place and will now face off the team from Flossie’s for the championship at Flossie’s in Dania Beach.

Sidelines Team #1 players Debbie Weisinger, Laurie Whittaker, Betina August, Shari Becker, Dee Kraft, Cathy Josie and Val Jackson shot with accuracy and grace to get to the playoffs (the team has placed in almost every season since they began playing).
Sidelines Team #2 came in 3rd place and while they didn’t win their playoff match against the team from Cloud 9, the Sidelines’ team

shot like pros. Team Captain, Jo Anne McCann, praised her teammates Felena Talbott, Joanne Diederich, Maureen “Mo” Mockler, Victoria Arrua, Susan Merkle, Stephanie McCoy and Jesse Mixon. They finished third in their division with a record of 11-7.

“It’s great to see some pretty sharp pool playing from the ladies. We are so very proud of each of them!” stated Laurie Whittaker, owner of Sidelines.
