CHICAGO, IL – The Windy City Times has reported that dozens of tires on floats headed for Chicago’s Gay Pride Parade were cut with knives just hours before last Sunday’s parade. A representative of Associate Attractions, the long-time float provider, said that the floats were fine when he left at 8 p.m. Saturday night, but when he returned at 5 a.m. on Sunday to start final preparations, he found two tires punctured on each of the more than 30 floats. No other damage was done to the floats.
