The Pet Project Schedules Two Fundraising Events

Posted on 01 July 2011

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – The Pet Project will be holding a Fourth of July Fundraiser at Mona’s Cocktail Lounge on July 4, starting at 12 noon. The fundraiser will include several raffles throughout the day and a cookout starting at 2 p.m. Mona’s is located at 502 E. Sunrise Boulevard (just west of the FEC Railroad tracks) in Fort Lauderdale.

There will also be a Florida Leather Canine Dog Contest at Ramrod on Sunday, July 10, starting at 8 p.m. Bring your “best friend” in his finest leather and perhaps he will win a spot in the 2012 Collar and Cuffs calendar.

There will also be a dog buffet on the back patio. Ramrod is located at 1508 N.E. 4th Avenue, also in Fort Lauderdale.

The Pet Project’s mission is to do what needs to be done to keep the human/animal bond intact for people living with a life-threatening or terminal disease through pet care services and education.
