DES MOINES, IA – Right Wing Watch reported that Texas Governor and potential presidential candidate Rick Perry has been reaching out to some of the most radical anti-gay leaders for possible support. Recently, Perry held a prayer rally hosted by the American Family Association, whose spokesperson, Bryan Fischer wants homosexuality criminalized.
Now, Perry is reaching out to Bob Vander Plaats, the head of The Family Leader, who led a successful campaign to remove three Iowa Supreme Court justices who backed same-sex marriage and is closely linked to the AFA.
