WILTON MANORS, FL – The Shoppes of Wilton Manors on Wilton Drive will be holding a two-day gay pride celebration in their parking lot on both Saturday and Sunday, June 18 and 19.  The annual Stonewall Street Festival and Parade will take place on Wilton Drive on Sunday, June 19. This is the first year the popular shopping center, which is home to Georgie’s Alibi, Boom, GayMart, Ball, Humpy’s Pizza, Java Boys, Chic Optique, City/County Credit Union, Tee Jay’s Thai Restaurant and Island City Health and Fitness, will be holding an entire weekend pride celebration.

The two day event will include a “Pride Under the Stars” party, with an outdoor large screen television showing music and other videos plus other surprises.

For over two years, the businesses in the shopping center have gotten together to throw their own events in the large parking lot. Their monthly Market Bazaar have become a huge success.

Last year they held their first outdoor Halloween party and New Year’s Eve party, both of which were highly successful. The business owners are planning to put together a fourth annual outdoor party in their parking lot.
