FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – The new Royal Palms Resort and Spa started their new Sunday T-dance last weekend, picking up where the likes of the Marlin Beach Hotel and the Club Caribbean Resort left off years ago. Both former locations perfected the Sunday T-dance, but have long since been demolished.
Beach Place is where the former Marlin Beach once stood and the Harley Davidson dealership on N. Federal Highway is in the location of the former Club Caribbean. Both T-dance locations drew crowds from the tri-county area.
Hundreds of people lined around the block to attend the first of what will become a weekly event. The Royal Palms Resort and Spa T-dance will be held every Sunday from 4 to 9 p.m. at the Royal Palms Resort & Spa, 717 Breakers Avenue near Fort Lauderdale Beach. The T-dance features a full service bar and grill on premises, live deejay and ample parking. Cover charge, $5.
