WILTON MANORS, FL – During the early morning hours of Wednesday, May 18, thieves stole the piping for the back flow system for the rear building in the Shoppes of Wilton Manors that runs from Island City Health and Fitness to the Poverello Food Bank.

According to Bryan Nosal, manager of Island City Health and Fitness, police believe there is a ring of thieves, based in Oakland Park, that steal the piping then sell the metal as scrap. The theft did not affect the front building that runs from Georgie’s Alibi to Chic Optique.
