The Fort Lauderdale Gay Men’s Chorus is presenting their first fully staged production of a musical “The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas” with a twist. All roles, including those traditionally played by women, will be played by men. This show is for mature audiences. The Fort Lauderdale Gay Men’s Chorus production of “The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas” will be presented on Friday, April 1 and Saturday, April 2, 2011, at 8 p.m. at the Parker Playhouse in Fort Lauderdale. Tickets are $25, $35 and $45, plus $1.50 parking fee and any handling charges that may apply. Sunday Apr 3 from 7 to 10 a.m. Miami Beach Convention Center, 1901 Convention Center Dr. on Miami Beach.  Join our grand marshal, Jai Rodriguez, Bravo Network’s “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy” for the  23rd annual AIDS `Walk Miami, a 5K (3.1 mile) walk-a-thon fundraiser benefiting Care Resource.
Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. at the Miami Beach Convention Center followed by the opening ceremonies and invocation at 8:30 a.m. The Walk begins promptly at 9:00 a.m. and is followed by a post-walk celebration at the Miami Beach Botanical Gardens featuring complimentary drinks, snacks, vendor booths and entertainment sponsored by MTV Latin America.
