The first Green Dog Day Festival will be held this Sunday, May 16 on NE 13th Street near Pride Factory. The festival, designed for pets and the people who love them is a benefit for The Pet Project. The event is being produced by the 13th Street Alliance and will be hosted by Sordi and emceed by Todd Merefka. People can expect to hear live music, participate in dog contests, enjoy food and beverages and can even adopt-a-pet if they want. (Who says you can’t buy love?)
