NVEEE car wash and dine fundraiser

Posted on 17 May 2010

The National Voices for Equality Education and Enlightenment (NVEEE) held their car wash and dine and donate fundraiser at Courtyard Café in Wilton Manors. Founded in October of 2009, NVEEE was conceived as a response to the increasing levels of bullying, violence, and suicide among middle and high school students. The group raised more than $1,000. Part of the proceeds went to Mother’s Day baskets for the mother of Josie Lou Ratley-the Deerfield Beach Middle School student who was violently attacked. Other money is being saved do NVEEE can open an office and put together a national walk-a-thon. –DR
