United with Orlando, a memorial service to honor the victims of the Pulse Nightclub tragedy, will be held Friday, June 17 at 1 pm at Parker Playhouse, 707 NE 8th St, Fort Lauderdale 33304.
Among those speaking or performing at the service: Fort Lauderdale Vice-Mayor Dean Trantalis, Chaplain of the Fort Lauderdale Police and Fire Rescue Departments Ron Perkins, Fort Lauderdale Mayor Jack Seiler, U.S. Representatives Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Ted Deutch, and Lois Frankel, the cast of Opera Fusion’s Not in My Town, Las Olas Chabad Jewish Center Director Rabbi Chaim Slavaticki, State Attorney Michael J. Satz, Anti-Defamation League’s Florida Regional Director Hava Holzhauer, and the Gay Men’s Chorus of South Florida.
