Gay Singer Tyler Glenn Slams Mormon Church In New Video

Eugene, OR–Two years after coming out to Rolling Stone as a gay Mormon, Neon Trees Tyler Glenn slammed the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in a new solo video “Trash.” The newly released video shows Glenn, through a number of controversial acts, demonstrating and denouncing the Mormon church and its view of same-sex relationships. The single went on sale on iTunes late Thursday night.

Glenn told Rolling Stone, in a story published Friday, he believed in the faith and was an active Mormon until six months ago, when the LDS church made a policy change regarding members being excommunicated for participating in same-sex relationships, news .
