ORLANDO—The full transcript of the Pulse Nightclub killer’s first 911 call to police has been officially released, including previously redacted statements pledging this allegiance to “Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi may God protect him on behalf of the Islamic State.”
Earlier in the day, the Justice Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation had released a version of the transcript that omitted the pledge of allegiance to ISIS. According to Attorney General Loretta Lynch that decision was made to remain “sensitive to the interests of the surviving victims, their families and the integrity of the ongoing investigation.”
